Description

The BiOstic® Stabilized Blood RNA Isolation Kit is designed for high yield isolation of total RNA from whole blood collected in PAXgene™ Blood RNA Tubes*. A ready-to-use and specially formulated was buffer ensures reliable and complete collection of cells at the start of the protocol and a novel silica carbide DNA shearing column provides more complete RNA solubilization and release for increased binding. Due to these improvements, the BiOstic® Stabilized Blood RNA Isolation Kit will purify total RNA from 2.5ml of stabilized blood with higher yields as compared to competitor kits (e.g. Competitor Q PAXgene™ Blood RNA kit). The BiOstic® Stabilized Blood RNA Isolation Kit is sold for research use only. *Kit does not include PAXgene™ tubes. PAXgene™ is a registered trademark of Qiagen

Storage Conditions

Remove lyophilized DNase I and store at 4ºC. Proteinase K is stable at room temperature. For prolonged storage, place the Proteinase K at 4ºC. Store all other reagents and kit components at room temperature (15-30°C). Note: After resuspension, store DNase I at -20°C (DNase I is sensitive to physical denaturation. Do not vortex the resuspended DNase I).
